Custom Orders

Custom engraved products are created using the information, wording, artwork, specifications, and instructions supplied or approved by the customer. Customers are responsible for reviewing names, dates, spelling, numbers, artwork, placement, and other order details before engraving begins.

Changes and Cancellations

Because custom items are made specifically for the customer, changes or cancellations may not be possible after design preparation, engraving, or production has begun. Contact Etch 8:31 as soon as possible if an order needs to be changed.

Custom and Personalized Items

Personalized or custom-engraved items may not be returnable or refundable once engraving has begun, except when required by law or when Etch 8:31 determines that an error was caused by our workmanship.

Customer-Provided Items

When a customer provides an item for engraving, the customer accepts the normal risks associated with laser engraving. Material composition, coatings, finishes, hidden defects, and manufacturing variations can affect the final result. Etch 8:31 will use reasonable care when working with customer-provided items.

Artwork and Permissions

By submitting artwork, logos, photographs, names, trademarks, or other content for engraving, the customer represents that they have the right or permission to use that material for the requested purpose. Etch 8:31 may decline work that cannot reasonably or lawfully be completed.

Turnaround and Availability

Completion dates and turnaround estimates may vary depending on product availability, order complexity, artwork preparation, event schedules, and workload. Rush orders are subject to availability and may involve additional charges when disclosed and accepted before work begins.

Etch 8:31 Rewards Program

Etch 8:31 Rewards is a free customer loyalty program. New members receive a $5 welcome reward. The welcome reward may be used toward a purchase of $25 or more.

Members earn $5 in rewards for every cumulative $50 actually paid to Etch 8:31. Amounts covered by reward dollars, discounts, refunds, credits, or other non-cash adjustments do not count as amounts actually paid for purposes of earning the spending reward.

Each member receives a referral code. When a referred new customer reaches $50 in cumulative purchases actually paid, the referring member and the referred customer each receive a $10 referral reward. Referral rewards are issued once per qualifying new customer.

Rewards have no expiration date while the program remains active. Rewards have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are not transferable between customer accounts unless Etch 8:31 corrects an account error. Reward balances may not be used to create a negative purchase balance.

Members may generate a one-time checkout code to request use of available rewards. Checkout codes may expire after a short period for account security and must be confirmed by Etch 8:31 at checkout. Expiration of a checkout code does not cause the member’s reward dollars to expire.

Etch 8:31 may correct duplicate, mistaken, fraudulent, or improperly issued reward entries. If the program is materially changed or discontinued, Etch 8:31 will make reasonable efforts to communicate the change and provide a reasonable opportunity to use valid existing rewards.

Text Message Terms

When you voluntarily opt in to text message updates from Etch 8:31, you agree to receive customer-service and order-related text messages at the phone number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.

Privacy

Your use of our website, order forms, rewards program, and communications is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
